GATEway FATE is an unofficial social meet-up event for Final Fantasy XIV fans, featuring activities, food, shopping, and entertainment. It is produced by the same team behind Anime St. Louis.
Two-day passes are available for $90, with single-day passes priced at $75 for Saturday and $65 for Sunday. Early bird pricing is $85 until July 31, 2026.
October 17, 2026 — 2-day run. Vendor load-in occurs on Friday, October 16th from 6-9 PM, with the exhibit hall opening at 11 AM on Saturday and Sunday.
The peak day is expected to be Saturday, October 17th, when the exhibit hall is fully operational and most activities take place.
The event is held at the St. Charles Convention Center, located at 1 Convention Center Plaza, St. Charles, MO 63303.
Vendor applications closed on February 1, 2026. Each 10 x 10' space is priced at $200, with corner spaces at $300.
The vendor hall features a variety of vendors, including Blorg's Hobby Shop, showcasing merchandise related to Final Fantasy and other fandoms.
The artist alley includes numerous artists, such as Amare Stellas, Kezzako, and FroggerCube, offering fan art and merchandise.
Cosplay is encouraged, but must adhere to a family-friendly standard, covering what an average bathing suit would cover. Realistic weapon props are prohibited.

Gaming areas will feature official card games, including FFTCG and a Magic the Gathering collaboration, as well as a Mahjong parlor and TTRPG sessions.

An evening concert featuring classical guitarist John Oeth performing FFXIV music is scheduled, along with a themed social prom.
