By creating an account, accessing, or using Eventloot in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the service. We may revise these terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice in your dashboard. Your continued use of Eventloot after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
Eventloot is a convention schedule publishing tool designed for independent artists, vendors, and small brands who attend anime conventions, fan expos, and similar events. It lets you create and maintain a public-facing page listing the conventions you'll be attending, your booth location, and relevant details for your fans. We provide the platform and infrastructure; you are solely responsible for the accuracy and appropriateness of the content you publish.
You must be at least 13 years of age to use Eventloot. If you are between 13 and 18 years old, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's permission to use the service. By creating an account, you represent that all information you provide is accurate, current, and complete. Eventloot is intended for individual vendors and small brands — you may create one account per brand. Creating duplicate or fraudulent accounts is prohibited.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@eventloot.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your credentials. You may not transfer your account to another person or entity without our written consent.
You retain full ownership of all content you submit to Eventloot — including event details, descriptions, images, and logos ("Your Content"). By submitting content, you grant Eventloot a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, display, and reproduce Your Content solely for the purpose of providing the service (i.e., showing your public profile to fans). This license ends when you delete the content or your account. You represent that you own or have the right to share all content you post, and that it does not infringe any third party's rights.
Eventloot, its logo, design, editorial style, software, and all platform content not owned by users are the intellectual property of Eventloot and its licensors. Nothing in these terms grants you a right to use our trademarks, trade names, or brand elements. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works of any part of the platform without our express written permission.
You agree to use Eventloot only for its intended purpose of publishing legitimate convention schedules. You must not: use the service to post false, misleading, or fraudulent event information; scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the platform; impersonate another person, brand, or convention; post content that is defamatory, obscene, harassing, or illegal; attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the system; use the platform to send unsolicited messages or spam; or interfere with the service's availability for other users. We reserve the right to remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, without prior notice.
Eventloot is currently provided free of charge. We reserve the right to introduce paid plans or features in the future, and we will give you at least 30 days' notice before any currently-free feature becomes paid. We also reserve the right to modify, limit, or discontinue any feature of the service at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of significant changes in advance.
Eventloot integrates with third-party services including Supabase (database and storage) and Google (OAuth sign-in). Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. Your public profile may link to external websites — we are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party site. Convention information displayed on the platform (names, dates, venues) is sourced from public sources and provided for reference only; we do not guarantee its accuracy.
We aim to keep Eventloot available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, outages, or circumstances beyond our control. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the service (or any part of it) at any time, with or without notice. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the service.
You may close your account at any time from the Settings page. We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if we believe you have violated these terms, without prior notice or liability. Upon termination for any reason, your public profile will be taken down and your data will be deleted within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. Sections of these terms that by their nature should survive termination (including disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law) will survive.
Eventloot is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free, secure, or continuously available. Convention information (booth assignments, dates, locations) is user-submitted and may be inaccurate or out of date — always verify directly with the convention.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Eventloot and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities — arising out of or in connection with your use of the service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Because Eventloot is currently a free service, our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed USD $100.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Eventloot and its operators, employees, and contractors from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the service; (b) Your Content; (c) your violation of these terms; or (d) your violation of any third party's rights.
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of the service that cannot be resolved informally shall be submitted to binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, conducted in English. Either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to prevent irreparable harm pending arbitration. You waive any right to participate in a class-action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.
These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Eventloot. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect. Our failure to enforce any right or provision is not a waiver of that right. You may not assign your rights under these terms without our consent. We may assign ours freely. These terms do not create any partnership, joint venture, employment, or agency relationship between you and Eventloot.
